IOM, in partnership and close coordination with the Government of Zimbabwe, conducted DTM household intention assessments in villages assessed during the multisectoral village assessments in Chimanimani and Chipinge districts of Manicaland province in Zimbabwe.

During the reporting period (16 to 22 February 2022), a total of 50 movements were recorded - 45 Arrivals (2,352 individuals), 1 transit (76 individuals) and 4 departures (238 individuals).

The IOM rapid assessment (Emergency Tracking Tool, ETT) is a tool set up to collect information on large and sudden movements of populations. This information is collected following field visits and/or telephone interviews with key informants from displacement sites or host communities.
