The total number of current IDPs is 79,998. Of these, 70,542 individuals (88%) originate from Mosul. Most IDPs are in Ninewa governate: 78,846 individuals, which represents 99% of the total displaced population.

COUNTRIES OF IMPLEMENTATION
Conceptualized in 2004 in Iraq, for the IDP assessments and monitoring exercises, the DTM has been continuously refined and enhanced through years of operational experience in countries of implementation affected by natural disaster, conflict, or in complex situations.
