As of January 25, 2017, DTM has identified 1,899,830 IDPs (337,353 households) across Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba, and Yobe states.

The site profile was conducted for a camp in the town of Mutimbuzi, Rural Bujumbura. 2,032 IDPs comprising 303 households were present at the camp during the period of survey. There were two functional water services on site which could provide 20 liters of water per person per day.

Niger — Flow Monitoring Report (January 2017)
Since February 2016, IOM Niger has been carrying out flow monitoring of migrants at two points in Niger in the region of Agadez. 8,424 incoming individuals were observed in FMPs and 6,524 outgoing individuals were observed in FMPs during the month of January.

Conceptualized in 2004 in Iraq, for the IDP assessments and monitoring exercises, the DTM has been continuously refined and enhanced through years of operational experience in countries of implementation affected by natural disaster, conflict, or in complex situations.
