Burundi — Displacement Report 11 (July 2017)
This report provides an overview of the movements of internally displaced people since 2013. The largest movement of IDPs took place in 2015: 21% of all identified IDPs were displaced during the period of January to April 2015 while 32% were displaced between May and December 2015.

DTM identified 139,825 IDP families comprised of 838,950 individuals. The majority of the identified individuals (750,288) originated from Mosul. 401,940 people were living in unknown shelter arrangements and 359,274 people were living in camps or emergency settings.

From May to June 2017 DTM Libya interviewed 1,198 key informants across 100 Baladiyas and 657 Muhallas. A total of 226,164 IDPs were identified. The threat of violence from conflict and the presence of armed groups was the main driver of displacement for 93% of the displaced population.
