Beginning in May 2015, conflict between the host population, cattle migrants from neighbouring states and government soldiers ignited in Mundri West. An estimated 30,000 individuals were displaced from Mundri West County in May 2015. From June to August, IDPs began to return, but skirmishes between SPLA and armed youth from October to November 2015 caused re-displacement of the returnee population. The report contains details of displacement dynamics in Kotobi, Gariya/Medewu, Bangolo, Mundri UNMISS Temporary Operating Base, Mundri town and Ladingwa.
