In recent years, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela has seen changes in its migration trends: there has been an intensification of flows towards traditional destinations as well as new destinations in the region and the world. There has been an increase in the number of Venezuelans moving to other South American countries, to countried in the Carribean, to North America, and to Europe.
