During the week of 5-11 January 2018, there were 256 new arrivals and 52 exits at the Baidoa checkpoints. The key driving factors for displacement into the IDP sites were, insecurity and lack of food, while those leaving cited management of their farms. The new arrivals came from the districts of Baidoa (87%), Wajid District (13%). They said that they intended to move into the IDP sites of Dooy (65%) and Jera Madshek (35%). The new arrivals came from the districts of Baidoa (87%), Wajid District (13%). All of the families said they intend to return back to the IDP sites in Baidoa.
