Out of the total number of returns during the present reporting period, 45% returnees were male whereas 55% were female. The top 5 destination provinces for returns are: Kandahar (25%), Kabul (21%), Nangarhar (18%), Kunduz (12%) and Paktia (4%). The largest proportion of returns is from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (38.3%), followed by Balochistan (29.2%), Punjab (14.9%) and FATA (1.8%). The primary reasons for returning were the wish to return home, economic factors, and the fear of being deported.
