Summary
A total of 1,239 movements were recorded, comprising 1,115 arrivals and 124 departures, between 14 and 20 September 2020. Arrivals were recorded at locations in Askira/Uba, Bama, Biu, DIkwa, Gwoza, Jere, Mobbar, Monguno and Ngala Local Government Areas (LGAs) of the most-affected Nigerian State of Borno. Arrivals were also recorded in Demsa, Ganye, Girei, Gombi, Guyuk, Jada, Lamurde, Mayo Belwa, Numan, Shelleng, Song, Yola North and Yola South LGAs of the state of Adamawa.
Departures were recorded in Askira/Uba LGA of Borno; Demsa, Ganye, Girei, Gombi, Jada, Madagali, Michika, Numan and Song LGAs of Adamawa.
ETT assessments identified the following movement triggers: voluntary relocation (59%), poor living conditions (32%), conflict/atack (8%), and military operations (1%).
