Iraq — Mosul Operations Emergency Tracking Factsheet 43 (24 August 2017)

From 18 October to 24 August 2017, a total of 181,815 IDP families (1,090,890 individuals) have been displaced as a result of the Mosul Operations.  As of 24 August, the number of IDPs by main district of displacement were recorded as follows: Mosul (642,984), Al-Hamdaniya (124,434), Tilkaif (9,960), Al-Shikhan (9,462), Telafar (8,682), Hatra (1,440), and Akre (36). The current number of IDPs by shelter category is as follows: emergency camps (271,560 individuals), emergency sites (85,878 individuals), private settings (63,582 individuals), critical shelter arrangements (12,156 individuals), and screening sites (42 individuals). 401,940 individuals live in unknown shelter arrangements.
