Summary

While the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the SEEECA region has increased by almost five times over the past month, last week we saw a decrease in the rate of infection by 15 per cent. The Russian Federation continues to see a significant increase in cases daily and, within the region, has the highest number of cases reported (221,344), surpassing Turkey (138,370).
