Operations

During the COVID-19 pandemic, IOM's Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM), in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), monitors the movements to and from Nigeria's Adamawa and Borno States in the North East Nigeria.

This report, which presents the results from the Round 37 of Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) assessments carried out by the International Organization for Migration (IOM), aims to improve the understanding of the scope of internal displacement, the plight of return

Between 19 and 25 July 2021, a total of 1,489 movements were recorded in the states of Adamawa and Borno. The recorded movements consisted of 878 arrivals and 611 departures.

Between 12 and 18 July 2021, a total of 5,860 movements were recorded in the states of Adamawa and Borno. The recorded movements consisted of 4,334 arrivals and 1,526 departures.
