DTM identified 139,650 IDP families (837,900 individuals) who are currently displaced and 39,924 returnee families (239,544 individuals). 48% of the displaced population is living in unknown shelter arrangements and 32% are living in emergency sites or camps.
In order to further support the activities of humanitarian actors and contribute to understanding the highly fluid disoplacement dynamics taking place in Ninewa governorate, DTM is now releasing weekly figures of IDPs who tranist through Hammam al-Aiel screening site.
In July and August 2017 DTM Libya interviewed 1,301 key informants across 100 Baladiyas and 657 Muhallas. A total of 217,022 IDPs were identified.
During the reporting period 838,044 IDPs were identified. Of these 401,940 were residing in unknown shelter arrangements and 358,596 were residing in camps and emergency sites.
As of 31 July 2017 DTM identified 180,067 IDP families (comprised of 1,080,402 individuals).
1,270 South Sudanese were reported to be living in 7 areas of El Khuwei locality namely: El Khuwei town (570 individuals), Um Lobana (340 individuals), Nasharbo (165individuals), Morkab (70 individuals), Um Awesha (35 individuals), Al Dodia (70 individuals) and Megasem Al Tahir (20 individuals).

The flow monitoring figures provide an in-dication of the cumulative number of IDPs displaced from west Mosul.
A total of 307,435 individuals were registered in Sudan during the period between January and June, 2017. 51% were registered in Central Darfur State (all the caseload registered in Jabal Mara, of which 65% were returnees and 35% were IDPs displaced in 2016).

In response to the needs of people affected by the recent floods in North Darfur state, the DTM team conducted a door-to-door assessment mission in Shangil Tobay town and Um Deressaya IDP camp to assess and register the flood affected population.
In Garabolli, clashes on 9 July led to the displacement of approximately 250 households to multiple baladiyas including Tajoura, Tarhuna, Qasr Akhyar and Bani Waleed. As of 10 July, 75,000 individuals were reported to have returned to Sirt.

As of 01 June 2017, the TFPM has identified, 1,980,510 internally displaced persons (IDPs) (330,085 households) who have been displaced due to conflict since March 2015, dispersed across 21 governorates.
