The objective of the Emergency Tracking Tool (ETT) is to collect information on large and sudden population movements. Information is collected through key informant interviews or direct observation. This dashboard provides information on displacement which took place on 8 and 10 January 2021 in two sites of Lac Province. 

Following an armed attack which occurred on 25 December 2020 in the Kangalam sous-préfecture (Mamdi département):

-       On 8 January 2021, 17 households (52 individuals) fled the villages of Bikerom and Maria located on the islands of Lake Chad (Kangalam sous-préfecture, Mamdi département) for the site of Bibi Barrage located on the mainland, in the same sous-préfecture.

-       On 10 January 2021, 91 households (382 individuals) fled the villages of Maria and Choua located on the islands of Lake Chad (Kangalam sous-préfecture, Mamdi département) for the site of Koudoukolé located on the mainland (Bol sous-préfecture, Mamdi département).
