From May 2018 to October 2019, 12,054 Iraqi returns from abroad were identified in 15 Governates. The majority of the identified returnees (70%) came from two countries: Turkey (39%) and the Syrian Arab Republic (31%).

Data collection for Round 111 took place during the months of July and August 2019. As of 31 August 2019, DTM identified 1,552,914 IDPs (258,819 households) dispersed across 18 governorates, 106 districts and 3,106 locations in Iraq.

During the reporting period, key informants identified returnees who came mainly from Turkey (54%) and the Syrian Arab Republic (43%).

An increase in the number of returnees living in severe or poor conditions has been observed. Of the 1,564 assessed return locations, 286 hosting 514,644 individuals (i.e. 12% of the returnee population), present severe conditions.

Data collection for Round 110 took place during the months of May and June 2019. As of 30 June 2019, DTM identified 1,607,148 internally displaced persons (IDPs), or 267,858 families, dispersed across 18 governorates, 106 districts and 3,116 locations in Iraq.
