A total of 41 evacuation centers were surveyed for this assessment in the five municipalities and two cities affected. There are a total of 11,096 families with 42,897 individuals. The Municipality of Guinobatan has the highest number sites (15) and displaced population of 9,923 persons while the Municipality of Malilipot has only 3 sites with the lowest number of displaced population at 2,686 persons. Since September 17, 2014, over 42,897 individuals have been pre-emptively evacuated to evacuation centers across the province of Albay as a result of the Alert Level 3 raised on the volcano’s seismic activities. Alert Level 3 means a hazardous eruption is possible within weeks. From the first movement, an average of 2,000 persons have moved to the evacuation center everyday within the span of 20 days.
Hostilities expanded geographically, but the most directly affected areas continued to be the primary governorates of origin of the displaced populations: Ninewa with 145,671 families (50%), and Anbar with 83,154 families (28%). As the conflict spread through the central and central north governorates, displacement was also triggered in Salah al‐Din and Diyala governorates, the areas of origin for 13% (37,935 families) and 5% (14,981 families) of total families respectively. Displacement, although relatively small also occurred in the governorate of Bablyon, south of Baghdad City.
123 sites remain open, corresponding to 22,741 households or 85,432 individuals. A decrease of 18,133 IDP individuals, or 5,393 IDP households was recorded; this corresponds to a 17.5% decrease in the number of displaced individuals and 19.2% decrease in the number of displaced households from the previous round of the DTM report (round 19). Between July and September 2014, 49 IDP sites were closed. In the period under observation, rental subsidies accounted for the closure of 48 sites and the relocation of 4,907 households.
Since the peak of the crisis in December 2013 displacement in IDP sites in Bangui has decreased by approximately 80.6%. According to the Commission on the Movement of Population (CMP), in the month of September the estimated number of IDPs in Bangui is 60,093, a decrease of 10.9% compared to the previous month. The number of IDP sites in Bangui is also declining and at the end of September there are still 35 active sites (two less than in the previous period).
For the time period January to September 2014 DTM identified 1,725,432 internally displaced individuals dispersed across 1,715 distinct locations in Iraq. A review of displacement trend by governorates indicated Ninewa (49.4% or 141,954 families) and Anbar (28.7% or 86,621 families) as the main governorates of origin, followed by Salah al‐Din at 14.4% (41,348 families) for the total displaced case-load since January 2014. Ninewa and Anbar also have the highest rate of internal displacement, where 14% (20,435 families) and 67% (54,959 families) of the displaced populations are forced to settle within the same governorate respectively.
Since the peak of the crisis in December 2013, displacement in IDP sites in Bangui has decreased by approximately 80.6%. According to the Commission on the Movement of Population (CMP), in the month of September the estimated number of IDPs in Bangui was 60,093, which represents a decrease of 10.9% compared to the previous month. 91% of the total 484 IDPs interviewed envisions to leave the displacement site within the next 4 weeks. Of these, 69% of the respondents want to return and 21% want to relocate. The main challenges confronted on the sites are living conditions, food security, limited access to work and economic vulnerability.

19 499 ménages (101 279 personnes) enregistrés et identifiés par l’OIM dans l’ensemble des régions du Mali. 64 362 PDIs sont dans les régions sud et 36 917 PDIs dans les régions nord. Une enquête réalisée auprès des populations déplacées au sud et au nord révèle que 77% des ménages interrogés souhaite retourner dans leurs lieux d’origine tandis que 21% souhaite rester sur leur lieu de déplacement. 361 836 personnes retournées dans leurs zones d’origine ont été identifiées à Gao, Tombouctou, Kidal et Mopti. Une enquête réalisée auprès des personnes déplacées concernant les besoins primaires a mis en évidence le fait que 60% des ménages interrogés avaient des besoins alimentaires, 12% des besoins en termes d’articles non alimentaire, 11% des besoins en abris.
19,499 households (101,279 IDPs) registered and identified by IOM in all regions in Mali. 64,362 IDPs in the south and 36,917 IDPs in the north. IDPs’ movements toward the northern regions continue, even if they have decreased since the beginning of the year. A survey conducted on IDPs in the south and in the north, revealed that 77% of displaced households want to go back to their place of origin, while 21% would like to settle in the place of displacement. 361,836 returnees (to their places of origin) were identified in Gao, Timbuktu, Kidal and Mopti. A survey conducted on IDPs’ primary needs, shows that 60% of the displaced households expressed needs in term of food, 12% in term of NFIs, 11% for shelter.
Since the peak of the crisis in December 2013 displacement in IDP sites in Bangui has decreased by approximately 78%. In the month of August 2014 the estimated number of IDPs in Bangui is 67,514 according to the Commission on the Movement of Population. The number of IDP sites in Bangui is declining and at the end of August there are still 37 active sites.
A la date du 31 juillet 2014, les partenaires de la CMP ont comptabilisé 126.249 déplacés internes (23.458 ménages), ce qui correspond à une diminution par rapport aux données de mai 2014 (151.150 IDPs). Ces estimations comprennent les données concernant les personnes déplacées suite aux affrontements de mai et juillet 2014 ainsi que les estimations liées aux déplacements qui ont suivi la crise de 2012 (Tableau 1 et Tableau 2). En parallèle, 140.033 réfugiés ont été enregistrés dans les pays limitrophes par l’UNHCR.
176,150 families were displaced since January 2014 and 1,381 locations throughout Iraq are hosting IDP families. Over 50,000 IDP families are located in Anbar governorate and 28% of IDPs are located in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KR). Where indicated, findings are from the more detailed location assessments conducted in June and July.
