Flow monitoring points are placed at known migrant passing points along the Niger migratory route. Data is collected daily at FMPs to inform migrant movements and profiles. The data collected provides a snapshot of migrant movements through the region. Durinf the reporting period, 6,080 outgoing and 1,760 incoming individuals were identified. A great majority of migrants identified were men. Migrants identified are primarily from Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Gambia, Chad.
Cumulatively from the first week of June 2015 to 12 February 2016, 37,806 households representing 67,685 individuals have crossed the border into Haitian territory. 34.7% were female while 65.3% were male. 1,011 presumed unaccompanied minors were identified. 2,891 households declared having been registered in the PNRE corresponding to 6,409 individuals. 41,172 individuals declared having returned spontaneously to Haiti. 11,529 individuals claim to have been deported. 14,984 individuals were officially deported at the three official border crossing points of Ouanaminthe, Malpasse, and Belladères and have been voluntarily registered.
In Ibb, with a population of 2,719,000 people, 104,316 Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and 3,108 returnees were registered. Dissagregated by sex and age, the following data was registered in relation to the IDPs: 23% men, 25% women, 27% girls, 25% boys.
From the start of January 2014 through 04 February 2016, the DTM identified 3,320,844 internally displaced individuals (553,474 families). This maps shows the sizes of IDP population residing in 3 main shelter categories (private, critical, camp plus unknown). Baghdad governorate hosts the largest IDP population (18% or 602,628 individuals). The majority of this population is originally from Anbar governorate (67%), while a smaller portion (8%) are originally from Baghdad governorate. Anbar governorate hosts the second largest IDP population (17% or 574,764 individuals).
From the start of January 2014 through 4 February 2016, the DTM identified 3,320,844 internally displaced individuals (553,474 families). This maps shows the sizes of IDP population residing in 3 main shelter categories (private, critical, camp plus unknown). In total, 73% reside in private settings, 17% in critical shelter arrangements, 10% in camps and 2% in unknown shelter arrangements.
From January 2014 to 4 February 2016, the DTM identified 3,320,844 IDPs (553,474 families), dispersed across 105 districts and 3,698 locations in Iraq. The governorates hosting the largest IDP populations are Baghdad, Anbar and Dahuk with a total of 1,581,816 individuals corresponding to 48% of the total IDP population. A total of 76% of the displaced population (2,536,290 individuals) have fled from two governorates only, namely Anbar and Ninewa. From 7 January to 4 February 2016, the total number of identified IDPs recorded an increase of 1%, i.e. 30,534 individuals. Overall, the returnee population increased by 6%, i.e. 31,662 individuals.
25,081 IDPs (5,175 households) have been identified by the DTM in January 2016 in 3 targeted provinces: 12,107 IDPs (2,404 households) in Makamba province; 114 IDPs (41 households) in Kirundo province; 12,860 IDPs (2,730 households) in Rutana province. The number of persons displaced by natural disasters has increased since October (2,237 IDPs in 3 provinces in January 2016).

La Matrice de suivi des Déplacements (DTM en anglais) a été lancée au Burundi par l’Organisation Internationale pour les Migrations en septembre 2015 pour suivre et évaluer efficacement et de manière systématique les mouvements de population internes dans le pays et ainsifournir des informations fiables sur la situation actuelle des personnes déplacées internes (PDI). En janvier 2016, 25 081 PDI (5,175 ménages) ont été identifiées par la DTM dans les 3 provinces ciblées: 2,107 PDI (2,404 ménages) dans la province de Makamba, 114 PDI (41 ménages) dans la province de Kirundo, et 12,860 PDI (2,730 ménages) dans la province de Rutana. Bien que la majorité des PDI recensés en janvier 2016 a été déplacée en raison de la situation socio-politique actuelle (86%), le nombre de personnes déplacées par les désastres naturels est en augmentation depuis octobre 2015 (2,237 PDI dans les 3 provinces en janvier 2016).
