La Matrice de suivi des Déplacements (DTM en anglais) a été lancée au Burundi par l’Organisation Internationale pour les Migrations en septembre 2015 pour suivre et évaluer efficacement et de manière systématique les mouvements de population internes dans le pays et ainsi fournir des informations fiables sur la situation actuelle des personnes déplacées internes (PDI). En mai 2016, 41 423 PDI (8 758 ménages) ont été identifiées par la DTM dans les 5 provinces ciblées: 15 380 PDI (3 076 ménages) dans la province de Makamba, 395 PDI (122 ménages) dans la province de Kirundo, et 7 143 PDI (1 399 ménages) dans la province de Rutana, 8 595 PDI (2 141 ménages) dans la province de Muyinga, et 9 910 PDI (2 020 ménages) dans la province de Ruyigi. La majorité des PDI identifiés en mai 2016 a été déplacée en raison de la situation socio-politique actuelle (69%). 25% des déplacés ont fui en raison de désastres naturels.

From the start of January 2014 through 22 June 2016, the DTM identified 3,320,274 internally displaced individuals (553,379 families). This maps shows the sizes of IDP population residing in 3 main shelter categories (private, critical, camp plus unknown). In total, 70% reside in private settings, 16% in critical shelter arrangements, 12% in camps and 2% in unknown shelter arrangements.
From January 2014 to 22 June 2016, the DTM identified 3,320,274 IDPs (553,379 families), dispersed across 105 districts and 3,836 locations in Iraq. The governorates hosting the largest IDP populations are Anbar, Baghdad, and Dahuk (page 2), with a total of 1,523,136 individuals, corresponding to 46% of the total IDP population. A total of 77% of the displaced population (2,561,952) have fled from two governorates only, namely Anbar and Ninewa. DTM included a new displacement period in its current methodology. The sixth observation period extends from 1 March 2016 to date, and is intended to capture displacements caused by the intensification of military operations in Anbar and Salah al-Din. From 26 May to 22 June 2016 the total number of identified IDPs increased by 0.4%, i.e. by 14,016 individuals and the returnee population increased by 4%, i.e. by 27,822 individuals.

Flow monitoring points are placed at known migrant passing points along the Niger migratory route. Data is collected daily at FMPs to inform migrant movements and profiles. The data collected provides a snapshot of migrant movements through the region. The numbers are collected from primary sources and do not claim to reflect all migrants passing through the flow monitoring points. Since 01 February 2016, a total of 147,656 outgoing and 50,642 incoming migrants have been registered at FMP. This week, 11,657 outgoing and 6,026 incoming migrants have been registered.
Cumulatively from the first week of June 2015 to 16 June 2016, 65,686 households representing 115,586 individuals have crossed the border into Haitian territory. 35.1% were female while 64.9% were male. 1,580 presumed unaccompanied minors were identified. 4,497 households declared having been registered in the PNRE corresponding to 9,174 individuals. 71,389 individuals declared having returned spontaneously to Haiti. 21,185 individuals claim to have been deported. 22,662 individuals were officially deported at the three official border crossing points of Ouanaminthe, Malpasse, and Belladère and have been voluntarily registered.

Les points de suivi des flux sont placés dans des endroits de passages sur la route migratoire du Niger. Les données sont collectés chaque jour dans les FMP our informer les mouvements et profils migratoires et offrir une apércu des mouvements migratoires dans la région. Au cours de cette collecte de données, 12 697 individus sortants et 4 361 individus entrants ont été identifiés, portant un total de 137 051 individus sortants et 47 189 individus entrants depuis février 2016. Les nationalités principales sont les Nigériens, Gambiens, Guinéens, Maliens et Camerounais. La grande majorité des migrants identifiés (93%) sont des hommes.
