More than 5 years after the devastating 12 January 2010 earthquake, an estimated 16,497 households, or 61,302 individuals are still residing in 33 IDP sites in the earthquake affected communes. Of the 33 displacement sites still open, 88% are tents and makeshift shelter sites and 12% are T-shelter sites. 3 IDP sites closed between 1 April 2016 and 30 June 2016 due to rental subsidy programmes. When comparing the figures from the 26th round of the DTM to the IDP figures from 2010, a net decrease of 345,020 of the total households (or 1,475,145 individuals) identified in 2010, can be observed.
With protracted conflicts, reoccurring floods and drought as well as ongoing evictions in urban areas, the estimated internally displaced population (IDP) in Somalia stood at over 1.1 million in 2016. Within June 2016 DTM recorded 430, 062 IDPs. The Highest number of IDPs within this period were found in Belet Weyne with 132, 204 individuals, followed by Jowhar with 87,786. Ksmayo district had the highest number of IDP sites, 79.
A compilation of profiles for the districts of: Afmadow (54, 984 IDPs), Balcad (27,282 IDPs), Belet Weyne (132,204 IDPs), Borama (14,130 IDPs), Doolow (56, 436 IDPs), Jowhar (87,786 IDPs), Kismaayo (57,240 IDPs). The profiles indicate the number of individuals by stile classification, time of arrival and the number of individuals by place of origin.
In Mobility Tracking Report 4, DTM identified 425,250 IDPs, 258,025 returnees and 264,014 migrants (findings on migrants may also include refugees) in Libya. DTM Libya maintained its geographic coverage established in Mobility Tracking Report 3, conducting assessments in all accessible areas of the country, covering 100 out of 104 areas. Field assessments were conducted in 516 out of a total of 667 locations: an increase of 64 locations covered since the third report.
The total number of IDPs for this round was 430,062. Of these 64% were living in collective settlements and 36% were living within host communities.
DTM recorded 61,268 IDPs (12,610 households) in seven provinces. Most IDPs were found in Makamba (14,635 IDPs or 2,927households). 68% of IDPs reported socio-political reasons for their displacement and 29% were displaced by natural disasters. 3% fled for 'other' reasons. 25% of IDPs had been displaced since January–April 2015, 35% since after July 2015 and 37% since May–July 2015. Another 3% had been displaced since 2013–2015.
Preliminary figures from the IDP registration exercise indicate that 5,146 individual IDPs or 1,718 IDP households were registered by IOM in Udici Payam of Jur River County in June 2016. The document includes a map of the registration sites, and the figures for individuals and households registered at each site.
Preliminary figures in June 2016 indicate 63,386 individuals registered in three sites in Wau, South Sudan. 7,104 IDPs were registered in Lokloko displacement site, 38,701 IDPs at Isaac Stadium and 17,581 IDPs at Rabita displacement site. The dashboard includes figures and a map showing the primary areas of origin of the IDPs registered.
Cumulatively from the first week of June 2015 to 30 June 2016, 68,933 households representing 120,646 individuals have crossed the border into Haitian territory. 35.0% were female while 65.0% were male. 1,641 presumed unaccompanied minors were identified. 4,618 households declared having been registered in the PNRE corresponding to 9,378 individuals. 74,528 individuals declared having returned spontaneously to Haiti. 21,907 individuals claim to have been deported. 23,861 individuals were officially deported at the three official border crossing points of Ouanaminthe, Malpasse, and Belladère and have been voluntary registered.
Flow monitoring points are placed at known migrant passing points along the Niger migratory route. Data is collected daily at FMPs to inform migrant movements and profiles. The data collected provides a snapshot of migrant movements through the region. The numbers are collected from primary sources and do not claim to reflect all migrants passing through the flow monitoring points. Since 01 February 2016, a total of 160,534 outgoing and 58,084incoming migrants have been registered at FMP. This week 12,761 outgoing and 5,120 incoming migrant have been registered.
Un séisme de magnitude 7.0 a frappé Haiti le 12 janvier 2010. Celui-ci a causé la destruction de plus de 300,000 immeubles et le déplacement de 1.5 millions de personnes. Le rapport suivant présente les résultats de visites de terrain effectuées entre le 1er Avril et le 30 Juin 2015. 16 497 ménages déplacés soit 61 302 PDI, demeurent toujours dans des sites. 33 sites de déplacés demeurent ouverts. 88% de ces sites se composent de tentes, tandis que 12% de ces sites se composent d’abris transitoires. De plus, 3 sites PDI ont été fermés entre le 1er Avril et le 30 Juin 2016 et 1 260 ménages ont été relocalisés.
Les points de suivi des flux sont placés dans des endroits de passages sur la route migratoire du Niger. Les données sont collectés chaque jour dans les FMP our informer les mouvements et profils migratoires et offrir une apércu des mouvements migratoires dans la région. Au cours de cette collecte de données, 12 761 individus sortants et 5 120 individus entrants ont été identifiés, portant un total de 160 534 individus sortants et 58 084 individus entrants depuis février 2016. La plus forte proportion des mouvements observés sont du Niger vers la Libye (67%) avec plus de 200.000 migrants enregistrés. Les nationalités principales sont les Nigérians, Nigériens, Gambiens, Maliens et Camerounais. La grande majorité des migrants identifiés (94%) sont des hommes.
