From January 2014 to 22 July 2016, the DTM identified 3,369,252 IDPs (561,542 families), dispersed across 105 districts and 3,823 locations in Iraq. The governorates hosting the largest IDP populations are Anbar, Baghdad, and Dahuk (page 2), with a total of 1,555,872 individuals, corresponding to 46% of the total IDP population. A total of 77% of the displaced population (2,605,188 individuals) have fled from two governorates only, namely Anbar and Ninewa. From 22 June to 22 July 2016, the total number of identified IDPs increased by 1%, i.e. by 48,978 individuals and overall, the returnee population increased by 6%, i.e. by 42,600 individuals.
From the start of January 2014 through 22 July 2016, the DTM has identified 3,369,252 internally displaced individuals (561,542 families). This map shows locations where IDPs are currently residing, as well as overall concentrations across the country. Anbar governorate hosts the largest IDP population (19% or 635,898 individuals) and reports a very high rate of intragovernorate displacement, with 97% of IDPs originally from the same governorate. Baghdad governorate hosts the second largest IDP population (15% or 521,700 individuals). Dahuk governorate hosts the third largest IDP population (12% or 398,274 individuals), of whom 99% are from Ninewa governorate.
As of 17 August 2016, the DTM has identified 3,344,154 IDPs (557,359 families) displaced since January 2014, dispersed across 105 districts and 3,823 locations in Iraq. For the same period, the DTM has identified 852,390 returnees (142,065 families). The governorates hosting the largest IDP populations are Anbar, Baghdad, and Dahuk (page 2), with a total of 1,501,650 individuals, corresponding to 45% of the total IDP population. A total of 77% of the displaced population (2,559,648 individuals) have fled from two governorates only, namely Anbar and Ninewa. From 22 July to 17 August 2016, the total number of identified IDPs decreased by 1%, i.e. by 25,098 individuals. Overall, the returnee population increased by 7%, i.e. by 55,632 individuals.
ETM Cycle 2 assessed 535 villages in 8 affected provinces in all four divisions. Of the assessed villages, 374 villages in 39 districts and eight provinces were found to be affected. 38% of the population (30,116 persons or 14,365 households) in the affected areas are still unable to live in their homes because of the degree of damage they sustained due to the cyclone.
2,066,783 IDPs (344,564 households) were identified in Adamawa, Bauchi, Benue, Borno, Gombe, Taraba, Yobe, Nasarawa, Plateau, Kaduna, Kano, Zamfara states and Abuja FCT. In total, 1,808,021 IDPs captured through the DTM assessments have been displaced by the insurgency (87.5% of the total IDP population). Majority of the IDPs are identified in Borno (1,404,483) followed by Adamawa (159,445) and Yobe (112,671).
Cumulatively since the first week of June 2015 to 14 July 2016, 72,227 households representing 125,720 individuals have crossed the border into Haitian territory. 35.0% were female while 65.0% were male. 1,686 presumed unaccompanied minors were identified. 4,701 households declared having been registered in the PNRE corresponding to 9,527 individuals. 77,405 individuals declared having returned spontaneously 22,889 individuals claim to have been deported. 25,076 individuals were officially deported at the three official border crossing points of Ouanaminthe, Malpasse and Belladere and have been voluntarily registered.
A la date du 30 juin 2016, les partenaires de la CMP ont comptabilisé 50 807 personnes rapatriées, ce qui correspond à une augmentation de 1 860 personnes par rapport aux données d’Avril 2016 (48 947 Rapatriés). En parallèle, 37.801 personnes déplacées internes (7 176 ménages), 468 467 personnes retournées ont été enregistrés par les équipes de la DNDS et 134.058 réfugiés maliens dans les pays limitrophes par l’UNHCR.
De los 28 albergues oficiales planificados por el Gobierno del Ecuador a lo largo de las provincias de Manabí y Esmeraldas, al momento de la evaluación 25 se encontraron activos y 3 en proceso de construcción. Este informe se enfoca en particular sobre la situación de las personas desplazadas en los refugios improvisados. Se ha identificado 127 refugios albergando 5 o más familias desplazadas en diversas zonas afectadas por el sismo.1 La evaluación fue implementada en diferentes cantones ubicados en las provincias de Manabí y Esmeraldas entre los días 25 y 29 de junio de 2016. De los 146 refugios identificados y evaluados durante la ronda 2 del DTM se ha visto una paulatina reducción de estos a 127 refugios actualmente. En esta última ronda se han identificado un total de 11.146 personas, denotándose una reducción de 9.263 personas lo cual tiene relación directa con la creación de los albergues oficiales. La provincia con mayor cantidad de familias desplazadas es Manabí con 2.242 familias (8.630 individuos).

A total of 164,626 IDPs were registered in Sudan between January and June 2016. The greatest number of IDPs registered by IOM this year has been in South Kordofan. A total of 93,487 individuals were registered as returnees. These returnees include 91,067 (97%) returnees reported as permanent, and 2420 (3%) reported seasonal.
The findings presented here are collected at the flow monitoring points located in Arlit and Séguédine, two migrant transit towns in the Agadez region of Niger. The data in this report is based on daily monitoring carried out at the flow monitoring points and on inter-views carried out with 1 746 migrants. Between February and June 2016, 218 618 migrants recorded as passing through the flow monitoring points, including 168 053 outgoing migrants and 58 0584 incoming migrants. 87% are Men, while 13% are Women. 9% are under 18 years old. Over 4000 minors were observed passing through the flow moni-toring points, 53% of those are unaccompanied.Over 800 outgoing migrants (leaving Niger) were interviewed. Of those 47% are heading towards Libya, 31% towards Algeria, 6% towards Europe and 4% specifically towards Italy.
More than 5 years after the devastating 12 January 2010 earthquake, an estimated 16,497 households, or 61,302 individuals are still residing in 33 IDP sites in the earthquake affected communes. Of the 33 displacement sites still open, 88% are tents and makeshift shelter sites and 12% are T-shelter sites. 3 IDP sites closed between 1 April 2016 and 30 June 2016 due to rental subsidy programmes. When comparing the figures from the 26th round of the DTM to the IDP figures from 2010, a net decrease of 345,020 of the total households (or 1,475,145 individuals) identified in 2010, can be observed.
