DTM Identified 41,988 individual IDPs. The highest number of displaced were recorded coming from Mosul (34,446 IDPs representing 82% of the total). 6% came from Tilkaif, 12% from Al-Hamdaniya and 1% from Makhmur. 97% of IDPs (40,638 individuals) are residing in Ninewa Governorate. Approximately 80 families reached Al Alam sub-district (Salah al-Din governorate) from Al Namroud area. Approximately 18 families have reportedly entered Baghdad governorate through sponsorship after moving from Ninewa to Anbar.

DTM identified 198,889 internally displaced persons (76%), 26,743 unregistered refugees (10%) and 36,068 returnees (14%). 8% of the displaced population was displaced by flooding and other natural disasters while the vast majority (91%) was displaced by conflict. An estimated 72% of the displaced population lives in host families while 15% lives in rented spaces, 9% in spontaneous settlements, 2% in collective shelters, and 2% in open-air spaces. 67% of the displaced population are minors.

DTM recorded 102,258 IDPs (21,606 households) in nine provinces. Most IDPs were found in Gitega (31,610 IDPs or 7,014 households). 32% of IDPs had been displaced since January–April 2015, 33% since after July 2015 and 31% since May–July 2015. Another 4% had been displaced since 2013–2015. Reasons for displacement varied by province. While 95% of IDPs fled natural disasters in Ruyigi (5% because of current socio-political reasons) only 15% did so in Makamba (85% fled because of socio-political situations).

DTM Identified 21,792 individual IDPs. The highest number of displaced were recorded coming from Mosul (15,690 IDPs representing 72% of the total). 11% came from Tilkaif, 16% from Al-Hamdaniya and 2% from Makhmur. 56% of IDPs are currently residing in Mosul, 10% in Tilkaif, 26% in Al-Hamdaniya, 6% in Falluja and 2% in Makhmur. Approximately 84 families from Abu Jarboa’a village (Baashiqa sub-district) moved to Zeilkan camp after passing through security clearances. Approximately 95 families from al-Shura and al-Nimrod sub-districts passed through the security screening at the entrance of Qayyarah Jad’ah camp and then moved into the camp. Reportedly they are sheltered in rub halls.

Cumulatively since the first week of June 2015 until 3 November 2016, 89,039 households representing 149,493 individuals have crossed the border into Haitian territory. 34.1% were female while 65.9% were male. 2,362 presumed unaccompanied minors were identified. 5,378 households declared having been registered in the PNRE corresponding to 10,538 individuals. 91,001 individuals declared having returned spontaneously. 25,819 individuals claim to have been deported. 32,211 individuals were officially deported at the three official border crossing points of Ouanaminthe, Malpasse, and Belladère and have been voluntarily registered.  

DTM Identified 20,808 individual IDPs. The highest number of displaced were recorded coming from Mosul (14,946 IDPs representing 71.8% of the total). 11.2% came from Tilkaif, 15.0% from Al-Hamdaniya, 0.4% from Samarra and 1.5% from Makhmur. 55.3% of IDPs are currently residing in Mosul, 10.5% in Tilkaif, 25.6% in Al-Hamdaniya, 6.6% in Falluja, 1.5% in Makhmur and 0.4% in Samarra. Approximately 800-1,000 individuals from Abu Jarboa’a village, in Baashiqa sub-district, arrived to Nargazliyah screening site. Of these, about 500 individuals (88 families) moved to Zelikan camp. The others have remained in the screening site because of a sand storm and were expected to be transported to Zelikan camp the following day. 

The past month has seen a significant decline in numbers of migrants transiting through the towns of Arlit and Séguédine in the region of Agadez. While 28,461 outgoing migrants and 26,290 incoming migrants were registered in Arlit, 282,575 outgoing and 79,464 incoming migrants were registered in Séguédine.

Pendant le mois d’Octobre le nombre de migrants transitant par les villes d’Arlit et de Séguédine où sont situés les points de suivi des flux ont baissé. Ces villes, traditionnellement utilisées comme lieux de transit, connaissent, comme toute la région d'Agadez, des mesures de contrôles renforcés pour permettre au gouvernement de lutter contre le trafic des migrants et la migration clandestine vers la Libye et l’Algérie. En conséquence, les flux de migrants ont diminué. Au cours de cette collecte de données, 12 654 individus sortants et 1 290 individus entrants ont été identifiés, portant un total de 311 036 individus sortants et 106 154 individus entrants depuis février 2016. Les principales nationalités présentes dans les flux sortants sont les Nigérians et les Nigériens suivis par les Sénégalais et les Gambiens. Pour les flux entrants, il y a un grand nombre de Nigérians, Maliens, Camerounais et Gambiens. La grande majorité des migrants identifiés (91%) sont des hommes.

The highest number of displaced were recorded coming from Mosul (13,464 IDPs representing 75% of the total). 13% came from Tilkaif, 10% from Al-Hamdaniya and 2% from Makhmur. 55% of IDPs are currently residing in Mosul, 12% in Tilkaif, 23% in Al-Hamdaniya, 8% in Falluja and 2% in Makhmur. 28 families from Mosul arrived to Bezabize Central Camp in Anbar.
