As of 01 February 2017, the TFPM has identified, 1,991 ,340 internally displaced persons (IDPs) (331,890 households) who have been displaced due to conflict since March 2015, dispersed across 21 governorates. For the same period, the TFPM has identified 1 ,048,896 returnees (174,816 households), across 19 governorates.
DTM recorded 465,198 individuals comprising 77,533 families.
DTM Burundi recorded 61,784 individuals comprising 13,210 families during the period covered. Of these 19% were children, 10% were elderly and 5% were pregnant women. These DTM statistics covered the 3 provinces of Bubanza, Cankuzo and Gitega.
DTM recorded 37,383 families comprised of 224,298 individuals. Ninewa governorate hosted the largest number of IDPs (210,750 individuals) and Baghdad governorate hosted the second largest number of IDPs (10,440 individuals).
The cumulative total of IDPs recorded by DTM during this period was 225,708 individuals comprising 42,618 families. Of these 191,826 individuals (comprising 31,971 families) are still displaced. 123,078 people are currently residing in emergency camps. DTM also recorded 63,882 individual returnees.
The cumulative total of IDPs recorded by DTM during this period was 283,674 individuals comprising 42,279 families. Of these, 215,142 individuals (comprising 35,857 families) are still displaced. 141,504 people are currently residing in emergency camps. DTM also recorded 68,532 individual returnees.
Cumulatively since the first week of June 2015 to 9 March 2017, 107,914 households representing 177,304 individuals have crossed the border into Haitian territory. 33.7% were female while 66.3% were male. 2,892 presumed unaccompanied minors were identified. 6,189 households declared having been registered in the PNRE corresponding to 11,875 individuals. 107,719 individuals declared having returned spontaneously. 29,948 individuals claim to have been deported. 39,175 individuals were officially deported at the three official border crossing points of Ouanaminthe, Malpasse, and Belladère and have been voluntary registered.
A la date du 28 février 2017, les partenaires de la CMP ont comptabilisé 57 408 rapatriés, ce qui correspond à une augmentation de 814 personnes par rapport aux données de Janvier 2017 (56 594 Rapatriés). Par ailleurs, environ 10 116 personnes se sont déplacées suite aux violences variées dans le cercle de Macina et environs.
DTM recorded 215,142 IDPs comprising 35,857 families. Of these, 180,858 reported that their district of origin was Mosul. The highest number of IDPs was recorded in Ninewa governorate, 198,282 individuals (94% of the total). 180,180 individuals were recorded living in camps and emergency sites. As of 9 March, approximately 171 families arrived Haj Ali camp, while 16 families left.
This snapshot includes information on numbers, displacement reasons and needs from IDPs in eight local government areas (LGAs). 3,945 IDPs (734 households) were displaced due to recent attacks in Chibok. The largest numbers are in the main Chibok town (Garu, Likama and Whumtaku wards). Here the main needs are Shelter, food, NFIs and water.
DTM Identified 446,808 individuals comprising 74,468 families. The highest number of displaced were recorded in the Mosul operation (206,520 IDPs), in which the most originated from Mosul itself (172, 260). In Salah al-Din and Ninewa, DTM recorded 151,338 IDPs of which most originated from Al-Shirqat. Finally, DTM recorded 88,950 IDPs in Al-Hawija. 254,820 IDPs were recorded living in camps, 96,594 in critical shelter arrangements, 89,814 in private settings, 4,410 in unknown shelter arrangements and 1,170 in reception centres.
