DTM was established in Libya in October 2015 to track the movement of IDPs, returnees and migrants. This report is an overview of DTM's mobility tracking activities in Libya accross all seven rounds of assessment. The seven rounds of assessment covered in this report were conducted between January 2016 (round one) and December 2016 (round seven). During this period 100 areas and 492 locations were assessed. DTM identified 303,608 IDPs and 453,540 returnees.  

This report consists of a map indicating displacement events across Tripoli, Sirte, Nofaliya, Al Qatrun.

The total number of people currently displaced, as of 16 March 2017, is 254,880 individual IDPs comprising 42,480 families. During the period covered 216,294 people were living in camps and emergency settings. Ninewa governorate currently hosts the most IDPs, 239,454 individuals. The second highest number of IDPs was recorded in Baghdad governorate, 12,204 individuals.

The total number of people currently still displaced, as of 16 March 2017, is 254,880 individual IDPs comprising 42,480 families. The total number of people displaced since 17 October 2016 is 326,754 individuals. 158,016 people were living in camps and emergency settings. Mosul district currently hosts the most IDPs, 133,140 individuals.

From 2 February to 2 March 2017 DTM was active in 18 governorates across 106 districts and 3,660 locations. A total of 9,500 key informants were interviewed. The total number of identified IDPs increased by 1% (32,802 individual). The governorate that reported the highest increase in IDPs was Ninewa, with a growth of 8% (38,598 individuals). Overall, the returnee population increased by 6% (83,400 individuals). Two governorates in particular reported a significant increase in the returnee population, namely Anbar by 9% (58,878 individuals) and Ninewa by 11% (19,890 individuals).

In March 2017, a total of 71,984 individuals were registered in Golo, of which 54,362 individuals are returnees and 17,586 are IDPs. 63 % of the registered caseload are under 18 years old, of which 30 % are under 5 years old. 

Emergency tracking for: Bama (335 arrivals), Moguno (41 arrivals), Mobbar (1,050 arrivals), Kala/Balge (195 arrivals), Dikwa (911 arrivals). 

La Matrice de Suivi des Déplacements est un système compréhensif de collecte d’informations sur les personnes déplacées internes dans les provinces ciblées du Burundi. Ce système repose sur deux (2) types d’évaluations systématiques: les évaluations des tendances de déplacement dans les communes fournissent les principaux chiffres et tendances de déplacement au niveau des communes, et les évaluations dans les collines abritant plus de 40 ménages déplacés/200 personnes déplacées renseignent sur les besoins humanitaires dans les collines qui accueillent le plus grand nombre de déplacés. Cette évaluation porte sur trois (3) provinces au Burundi: Gitega, Bubanza et Cankuzo. En janvier 2017, 61 782 PDI (13 210 ménages) ont été identifiées.  

The document contains 11 dashboards of 11 governorates. The dashboards contain information on total governorate population, IDP and returnee numbers, demographic data, duration of displacement and needs. 

In 2016, a total of 691,581 undocumented Afghans returned to Afghanistan from Pakistan (248,054) and Iran (443,527). This is a 4% overall increase from 2015 (663,295 returns from Pakistan and Iran). Despite the consistency in the overall total, return levels were significantly different between 2015 and 2016, with returns from Pakistan increasing by 108% (248,054 vs. 119,279) and returns from Iran decreasing by 18% (443,527 vs. 544,016).

DTM recorded 224,298 IDPs comprising 37,383 families. Of these 189,336 individuals were living in camps and emergency settings. The most commonly cited district of origin was Mosul (190,074 individuals).

The Governorate Monitoring Sheets are a side-product of the ongoing work and internal procedures conducted by IOM DTM and can be used to examine the changes in population movement. The figures represented will not be officially endorsed by the Yemen HCT. The document contains 11 round 16 dashboards of 11 governorates.
