DTM identified 55,753 IDP families comprised of 334,518 individuals. The majority of the identified individuals (299,418) originated from Mosul. 290,328 people were living in camps/emergency sites and 40,956 people were living in private settings. 

The cumulative total of IDPs recorded by DTM during this period was 433,962 individuals comprising 72,327 families. Of these 330,012 individuals (comprising 55,002 families) are still displaced. 196,452 people are currently residing in emergency camps. DTM also recorded 103,950 individual returnees.

DTM recorded 55,002 IDP families comprised of 330,012 individuals. The majority of recorded IDPs originated from Mosul District (295,422 individuals). Most IDPs are living in camps or emergency sites (286,322 individuals). As of 19 April 2017 Haj Ali camp reported an overall increase of approximately 116 IDP families. Qayyarah Jad’ah 5 camp recorded an overall increase of 284 IDP families. Between 11 and 17 April, according to the camp management, approximately 139 families arrived to Hassansham M2 (former Khazer 2) camp, while 620 left. During the same period of time, Hassansham U3 camp received 74 IDP families, while 131 left, Khazer M1 camp received 309 IDP families, while 386 left. Chamakor camp received 7 IDP families. Returns have been recorded from Nargizliya 1 and 2, in Markaz Mosul.

A total of 63,000 individuals are reported to have returned to Sirte as of 19 April 2017. 150 IDP households were reported to have fled their homes due to clashes in Tamnhnt in the last two weeks. Due to the start of military activity in Sabri a total of 500 IDPs were reported to have been displaced within the surrounding area of Benghazi, particularly Allathama.

DTM recorded 55,190 IDP families comprised of 331,140 individuals. The majority of recorded IDPs originated from Mosul District (296,544 individuals). Most IDPs are living in camps or emergency sites (287,838 individuals). As of 17 April 2017 Haj Ali camp reported an overall increase of approximately 441 IDP families. Qayyarah Jad’ah 5 camp recorded an overall increase of 294 IDP families. Returns have been recorded from Nargizliya 1 and 2, in Markaz Al-Shikhan. 

DTM recorded 96,240 IDP families comprised of 577,440 Individuals. The majority of IDPs were residing in Camps (367,674 individuals). The Mosul Operations recorded the highest numbers of IDPs (327,432) of which most came from Mosul itself (292,824). 

Included in this Emergency Tracking Tool (ETT) snapshot are Gwoza, Ngala, Kala-Balge, Chibok, Damboa and Askira/ Uba. 1,119 displaced individuals were recorded in Gwoza and, respectively, 133 in Ngala, 144 in Kala/ Balge, 874 in Bama, 143 in Askira Uba, 77 in Damboa and 33 in Chibok. 

The most significant incident in Upper Nile occurred following the SPLA advance from Unity into Panyikang County on 12 April. Fighting is believed to have taken place between Wankur and Tonga with significant resistance from SPLA/iO units under the command of Johnson Olony. However, the SPLA were believed to have been building up forces in Unity state for some time for the purpose of carrying out this offensive suggesting they embarked with significant supplies and weaponry making their comparative advantage significant if not overwhelming. By 15 April, the SPLA claimed that they had taken Tonga from the SPLA/iO.

En février 2017, DTM a identifié 148 490 PDI (31 245 ménages) dans onze provinces. 5 157 PDI vivent des des dites de déplacements, 86 014 PDI vivent dans des familles d'accueil, et 57 319 PDI vivent dans des maisons louées. 93 197 PDI ont été déplacés à la suite de catastrophes naturelles, tandis que 55 293 PDI ont été déplacés en raison de la situation socio-politique. 6.5 PDI sur 10 font face à l'insécurité alimentaire. 

On 12 April 2017 at about 9:10 pm, suspected Boko Haram insurgents attacked the military station situated behind Dalori II (250 Housing Estate Camp), less than 2 kilometers from the camp. On account of the attack, internally displaced persons (IDPs) abandoned the camp immediately in search for a more secure place. Majority of the IDPs headed towards Maiduguri while some others tried going to Dalori I but they were denied access by the security at the gate. Dalori II IDP Camp is located 6 kms from Maiduguri Metropolitan Council. According to IOM’s Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) Round XV Report and ETT Report No. 8, the camp had a population of 12,171 IDPs. Dalori II IDP Camp was first assessed by DTM in August 2015 when it was officially opened.

The cumulative total of IDPs recorded by DTM during this period was 424,560 individuals comprising 70,760 families. Of these 327,432 individuals (comprising 54,572 families) are still displaced. 197,796 people are currently residing in emergency camps. DTM also recorded 97,128 individual returnees.

Most IDPs are living in camps or emergency sites (284,448 individuals). As of 12 April 2017 Haj Ali camp reported an overall increase of approximately 436 IDP families. Activities have resumed in Hammam al-Aleel camp and official figures are now available, hence the recorded increase of 930 IDP families. Ongoing return movements are recorded from the camps in Merkaz Al-Hamdaniya sub-district, particularly Hasansham M2. Returns are recorded also from Nargizliya 1 and 2, in Markaz Al-Shikhan.
