DTM recorded 59,735 IDP families comprised of 258,410 individuals. The majority of recorded IDPs originated from Mosul District (323,982 individuals). Most IDPs are living in camps or emergency sites (309,492 individuals). As of 1 May, updated figures about Hammam al-Aliel 1 camp and the recently opened Hammam al-Aliel 2 camp have been added. Returns have been recorded from Nargizliya 1 and 2 camps to Markaz Mosul. Ongoing field visits allowed to identify IDP and returnee families across different locations in Ninewa, Salah al-Din and Anbar governorates.
Clashes around Tamnhnt airport base began in early April 2017 and have been ongoing until the time of publication. DTM conducted a rapid assessment in the affected areas to determine the impact of the clashes on populations residing in the area. According to preliminary results, a total of 350 individuals (approximately 70 households) left their homes in the airbase where they had been stationed. They went to other baladiyas in the South including Brak, Sebha, Algurdha Ashshati, Alsharguiya, and Algatroun. Approximately 15 individuals (3 households) remained in Albawanees baladiya.
DTM recorded 98,488 IDP families comprised of 568,446 Individuals. The majority of IDPs were residing in Camps (374,034 individuals). DTM recorded 156,222 persons displaced caused by the military operations in Shirqat and Baiji districts (Salah al-Din governorate) since mid-June 2016, 339,558 individuals displaced because of military operations since 17 October 2016 in the context of the Mosul Operations Emergency Tracking and finally 95,148 individuals displaced due to the clashed in Hawija district (Kirkuk governorate) since August 2016.
As of 01 April 2017, the TFPM has identified, 1,988,946 internally displaced persons (IDPs) (331,491 households) who have been displaced due to conflict since March 2015, dispersed across 21 governorates. For the same period, the TFPM has identified 900,258 returnees (150,043 households), across 19 governorates. As a result, 10.4% of the total population of Yemen has experienced the shock of displacement due to conflict in the last 24 months.
DTM has identified 1,884,331 displaced individuals. 35% of IDPs dwell in camps or camp-like settings. 65% of all individuals are in host community settings. 79.5% are women and children. 28.3% are children under five years. 69% of people surveyed cited food as an unmet need. DTM further identified 1,234,894 individual returnees of which 74% were IDPs and 26% refugees. The dashboard contains four maps detailing (i) information on IDPs by site type and state, (ii) IDP distribution by LGAs, (iii) returnees by States and (iv) food security level of the return level.
DTM recorded 56,593 IDP families comprised of 339,558 individuals. The majority of recorded IDPs originated from Mosul District (302,748 individuals). Most IDPs are living in camps or emergency sites (290,928 individuals). As of 29 April 2017, Haj Ali camp reported an overall increase of approximately 12 IDP families. Return movements from camps in Merkaz Al-Hamdaniya sub-district have been recorded. From 18 to 25 April, according to the camp management, approximately 211 families arrived to Hassansham M2 (former Khazer 2) camp, while 232 left. During the same period of time, Hassansham U3 camp received 131 IDP families, while 158 left; Khazer M1 camp received 609 IDP families, while 403 left; and Chamakor camp received 129 IDP families while 215 left.
The objective of the National Monitoring System (NMS) in Ukraine, drawing on Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) approaches, is to support the Government of Ukraine in collecting and analysing information on the socioeconomic characteristics of internally displaced persons (IDPs) and IDP households, as well as the challenges that IDPs face. The report includes information on the characteristics of IDP households, IPD employment, IDP well-being, access to social services, IDP mobility, IDP integration and returnees to the non-government controlled area.
The cumulative total of IDPs recorded by DTM during this period was 441,720 individuals comprising 73,630 families. Of these 336,288 individuals (comprising 56,048 families) are still displaced. 210,802 people are currently residing in emergency camps. DTM also recorded 105,432 individual returnees.
L'enquête d'intentions de retour recueille des informations sur les conditions de vie des PDI dans les sites de déplacement et le retour potentiel dans leur lieu d'origine. Un total de 231 entretiens ont été conduits dans 9 sites de déplacement, situés dans les communes de Dame-Marie, Port-Salut, Cavaillon, et Jeremie.
Assessments identified an estimated 132,138 undocumented Myanmar nationals (UMNs) in 23,844 households in three makeshift settlements and 41 host community locations in two upazila of Bangladesh. Of these, 63,705 are estimated to be new arrivals since October 2016.
An outbreak of violence on 10 April in Wau town has displaced an estimated 22,000-25,000 people from their homes. More than 16,400 new arrivals have sought shelter at the protection of civilians (PoC) site adjacent to the UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) base, bringing the site's total population to 41,700.
This DTM Emergency Tracking Tool (ETT) has been deployed to track and provide up-to-date information on sudden displacement and other population movements in Bama, Chibok, Damboa, Dikwa, Gwoza, Jere, Kaga, Kala Balge, Konduga, Mafa, Monguno and Ngala.
