DTM identified 62,547 IDP families comprised of 375,282 individuals. The majority of the identified individuals (342,174) originated from Mosul. 318,396 people were living in camps/emergency sites and 49,818 people were living in private settings. 

DTM recorded 62,705 IDP families comprised of 376,230 individuals. The majority of recorded IDPs originated from Mosul District (342,312 individuals). Most IDPs are living in camps or emergency sites (318,624 individuals). As of 17 May 2017, updated figures about Hammam al-Aliel 1 camp and the recently opened Hammam al-Aliel 2 camp have been added. Haj Ali camp reported an overall decrease of approximately 140 IDP families. Ongoing field visits allowed to identify IDP and returnee families across different locations in Ninewa, particularly in Markaz Al-Hamdaniya sub-district.

The cumulative total of IDPs recorded by DTM stands at 492,972 individuals comprising 82,162 families. Of these 376,230 individuals (comprising 62,705 families) are still displaced. 222,948 people are currently residing in emergency camps. DTM also recorded 116,742 individual returnees.

DTM Sudan registered a total population of 85,492 individuals. 10,229 returnees were registered in April, of which 4,385 were registered in Otash village, South Darfur and 5,844 returnees were registered in nine localities in North Darfur State (cumulative). 52,695 IDPs were registered in April, of which 85% were from the old caseload who were displaced during 2016 from Jebal Marra. 22,568 South Sudanese refugees were registered in April, of which 77% were registered in South Kordofan, while the rest were registered in West Kordofan.

Most IDPs are living in camps or emergency sites (319,392 individuals). As of 15 May 2017, updated figures about Hammam al-Aliel 1 camp and the recently opened Hammam al-Aliel 2 camp have been added. Haj Ali camp reported an overall decrease of approximately 273 IDP families. Returns have been recorded from Nargizlia 1 and 2 camps to Markaz Mosul. Ongoing field visits allowed to identify IDP and returnee families across different locations in Ninewa, particularly in Markaz Tilkaif and Baashiqa sub-districts.

Included in this Emergency Tracking Tool (ETT) report are Bama, Kala-Bage, Gwoza. Chibok and Monguno. DTM recorded 42,902 IDPs in Bama, 35,706 in Kala-Balge, 60,836 in Gwoza, 12,950 in Chibok, and 1212,823 IDPs in Monguno (cumulative numbers). An estimated 2,569 individuals (533 households, HH) arrived in Bama during the period of assessment, while 31 individuals (3 HH) departed Bama for Maiduguri. On 11 May, 58 individuals (23 HH) arrived at Rann from Makari ward in Cameroon. 833 individuals (144 HH) arrived in Gwoza town between 10 to 13 May, while 267 individuals (42 HH) departed Gwoza for Maiduguri. 72 individuals (16 HH) arrived in Chibok from Maiduguri between 10 and 13 May. 42 Individuals (7 HH) were brought into Monguno by the military from Goniri village in Mawulli ward of Marte LGA.

DTM recorded 103,923 families comprised of 623,538 Individuals. The majority of IDPs were residing in camps (403,440 individuals). DTM recorded 156,618 persons displaced caused by the military operations in Shirqat and Baiji districts (Salah al-Din governorate) and Qayara sub-district (Ninewa governorate) since mid-June 2016. 370,344 individuals were recorded displaced because of military operations since 17 October 2016 in the context of the Mosul Operations Emergency Tracking and finally 96,576 individuals displaced due to the clashed in Hawija district (Kirkuk governorate) since August 2016.

As of 13 May 2017, according to the camp management official update, the current IDP population registered in Qayyarah Airstrip emergency site has been reviewed to 9,270 IDP families. Between 11 and 13 May, Hammam al-Aliel 1 camp recorded an overall decrease of approximately 251 families.

DTM identified 61,724 IDP families comprised of 370,344 individuals. The majority of the identified individuals (336,192) originated from Mosul. 319,854 people were living in camps/emergency settings and 46,962 people were living in private settings. 

During the reporting period DTM Somalia recorded 283 new entries (a 138% increase between March and April) and 871 new exits (a 33% decrease between March and April). 

During the reporting period, DTM Somalia recorded 75,366 displaced persons as displayed on the map.

Most IDPs are living in camps or emergency sites (319,104 individuals). As of 11 May 2017, updated figures about the recently opened Hammam al-Aliel 2 camp have been added. Ongoing field visits allowed to identify IDP and returnee families across different locations in Baghdad governorate, particularly in Markaz Al-Adhamia and Al-Sadir sub-districs.
