During the reporting period the total population of the site was 114,537 individuals (20,714 households). There were 412 entries, of these 35% were due to insecurity, 59% due to food and 6% due to other reasons. There were also 1,715 exits during the reporting period.  33% of these were attributed to the need to prepare farmland and 66% were as a result of people joining or visiting family.

During the reporting period the total site population consisted of 39,165 individuals (9,672 households). There were 1,405 entries to the site, the majority of these were as a result of insecurity. There were also 629 exits during the reporting period, these were as a result of seeking education, uncomfortable living conditions, rejoining family, health and others.

The on-site population during the reporting period was 114,537 individuals. Of these 50% were male and 50% were female, 35% were less than 5 years old. 4,957 individuals were living in communal shelters. In total there were 12,035 PoC structures recorded.  

As of 22 June 2017 DTM estimates that 72,121 households (432, 726) are currently still displaced. The Majority of these IDPs (358,938) are living in camps or emergency settings and the most commonly reported district of origin was Mosul (355,188 individuals). Ninewa governorate hosts the largest number of IDPs, 396,018 individuals.

As DTM strives to expand its coverage and real time reporting, different mechanisms to monitor displacement and triangulate figures have been put in place, including using flow-monitoring information through Hammam Al-Aliel screening site. In order to further support the activities of humanitarian actors and contribute to understanding the highly fluid displacement dynamics taking place in Ninewa governorate, the DTM is now releasing weekly figures of IDPs who transit through Hammam al-Aliel screening site from the beginning of west Mosul operations.

As of 22 June 2017 DTM has identified 72,121 families (432, 726 IDP individuals) currently still displaced. DTM has also identified 32,326 returnee families (193,956 individuals). The main district of displacement is Mosul (244,824 individuals) closely followed by Al-Hamdaniya (121,050 individuals). The majority IDPs are living in emergency camps (265,116 individuals).

DTM Emergency Tracking Tool (ETT) was deployed in Nigeria to track and provide up-to-date information on sudden displacement and other population movements. During this reporting period the following areas were assessed: Bama, Chibok, Damboa, Dikwa, Gwoza, Kala Balge, Kukawa, Konduga, Mafa, Maiduguri M.C., Monguno and Ngala.

214 895 Personnes Déplacées Internes (PDI), dans 46 137 ménages, ont été identifiées. 66% des déplacements sont dûs à des désastres naturels, 33% à la situation socio-politique. 68% des PDI (145 615) sont hébergées par des familles d'accueil, tandis 16% (34 371 PDI) vivent dans des maisons louées, 12% (26 011) dans des maisons vides ou des huttes contruites soi-même, et 4% (8 898) dans des sites de déplacement internes. 

The total registered population in May 2017 was 92,239. A total of 35,390 individuals were identified as returnees during the reporting period. 39,528 individuals were identified as IDPs and 17,321 were recorded as refugees.

This displacement report covers the 15 provinces of Burundi. The DTM identified 214,895 internally displaced persons (IDPs) and 46,137 households in the provinces of Rutana, Makamba, Ruyigi, Muyinga, Kirundo, Cibitoke, Rumonge, Bubanza, Gitega, Cankuzo, Muramvya, Bururi, Bujumbura Rural, Mwaro and Kayanza. In terms of reasons for displacement, 66.5% cited natural disasters, 33.1% socio-political situations, while 0.4% cited other reasons. The system is based on two types of systematic assessments: assssments of the displacement trends in the communes and assessments in the main displcement areas (collines). The assesments are undertaken on a monthly basis.   

During the reporting period DTM identified 820 displaced families (3,929 individuals). 5 evacuation centers were surveyed and issues in the following areas were observed: site management, shelter, WASH, education and protection.

As of 19 June 2017 DTM identified 111.062 IDP families (666,372 individuals). Of these 431,934 individuals are living in camps and emergency sites. Mosul hosts the most IDPs (262,344 individuals) followed by Tikrit (118,788 individuals).
