This Emergency Tracking (ET) system tracks displacement along the Mosul Corridor as of 10 September 2017. The dashboard merges three ET datasets and records a total of 180,511 internally displaced families (1,083,066 individuals). The Salah al-Din and Ninewa ET indicates that 148,716 individuals have been internally displaced, while the Hawija ET shows 101,862 individuals being displaced. The Mosul Operations ET displays a total of 832,488 IDP individuals.

During the reporting period, DTM identified a total of 182,188 IDP families comprised of 1,093,128 individuals who are currently still displaced. Tha main districts of displacement include Mosul with 642,450 IDPs and Al-Hamdaniya with 124,128 IDPs.

In this Flow Monitoring Weekly Report, it was found that there was a significant decrease (by 63%) in exits from Malakal PoC in comparison to the last week. 65 individuals exited during this reporting period in comparison to 178 individuals last week. Majority of those who entered (91%) intending to stay at PoC more than 6 month. Shortage of food was the major reason to come to Malakal PoC (68%). Moreover, there was also a significant decrease (by 55%) in exits from Bentiu PoC in comparison to the last week. 1,008 individuals exited during this reporting period in comparison to 2,259 individuals last week. Of those who left the PoC, the majority (80%) intend to stay for one to three months mainly heading to Rubkona (50%) and Guit (30%) for the reason due to join the rest of the family. 

DTM Emergency Tracking Tool (ETT) is deployed to track and provide up-to-date information on sudden displacement and other population movements in: Bama, Damboa, Dikwa, Gwoza, Kala Balge, Konduga, Monguno and Ngala. Notably, 339 IDPs arrived at Gwoza during the reporting period, making this LGA the largest recipient of arrivals this week. 

As of 5 September 2017, DTM identified 138,968 IDP families (833,808 individuals) currently still displaced. Of these, the majority originated in Mosul district (744,180 individuals). The most common types of shelter arrangements amongst the identified displaced population are unknown shelter arrangements (401,940 individuals), and camp and emergency sites (356,796 individuals).

This Flood Displacement Report found that out of the 5,072 displaced persons from 1,045 households covered by DTM, 100 percent of sites are spontaneous settlements. The most common type of shelter is makeshift/tarpaulin which accounted for 67 percent of sites. 50 percent of sites reported having no treatment of water before consumption while 67 percent of sites reported having access to a local market.
