A total of 115 entries and zero exit were recorded in Dolow IDPs camps this week. The number of entries recorded this week are slightly lower than last week but way above the numbers we’ve see for the last three months. The majority of the new arrivals this week cited lack of food as their reason for displacement (69%), uncomfortable condition (19%) and rejoining families (12%) as their reason for entry. As reported this week more than half of the new arrivals came from nearby districts, Belet xaawo (19%), Garbaharey (19%) and 19%, from Luuq, Baardhera (12%) across the border, Ethiopia (31%). All the new arrivals went to Qansaxley IDP site except two families that were rejoining their families in Kabasa.
A total of 96 entries and zero exit were recorded in Dolow IDP camps. This is the second week in a raw with no exit. The ongoing scope registration in both IDPs sites has contributed to the number of entries and exits this week among other reasons. The majority of the new arrivals this week cited lack of food as their reason for displacement (72%), uncomfortable condition (14%) and rejoining families (14%) as their reason for entry. More than half of the new arrivals came from nearby districts with Luuq (29%), Belet xaawo (14%), Garbaharey (14%), Baardhera (14%) and across the border Ethiopia (29%). All the new arrivals went to Qansaxley IDP site except two families that were rejoining their families in Kabasa IDP site.
This Week there were 323 entries, this Marks the highest entries for the last 11 weeks with 53 exits. The high entries can be attributed to the Jubbaland, SNA forces vs Al-Shabab forces confrontation in lower juba and parts of Middle Jubba. The majority of the new arrivals cited Food scarcity (55%), Insecurity (32%) and few others as their reasons for displacement. This week, the new arrivals came from Kismayo District (51%), jilib (15%), Jamaame (11%), Afmadow (11%) and Buale (11%). These new arrivals were heading to IDP sites in the Dalxiska Section (34%), Galbet section (23%), Fanole Section (23%), Fanole section (19%) and a few other locations. Out of the 10 families exiting the IDP sites, 4 were from the Fanole Section, 3 left DalxiskaSection, 2 left Galbet section and 1 left Central section. After leaving the sites, these IDPs indicated that they were heading to the districts of Buale (30%) and Kismayo (30%) the reminder was heading to Jilib (20%), Jamaame (10%) and Badhaadhe (10%). All the exists said their main reason for return was management of farms (60%), Uncomfortable living conditions (20%) and rejoining family (20%).
This week a total of 288 entries were recorded and 58 exists. A slight increase in the number of Exits compared to last week. The new arrivals cited Food shortage (54%), Insecurity (25%), Health (15%) and Education (6%) as their reasons for displacement in to the IDP sites. As reported this week (56%) of those entering came from Kismayo district, (13%)Badhaadhe, (10%) Buale, (10%) Afmadow , (6%) Jamaame and a few other locations. They were heading to IDP sites in the Galbet Section (35%), Fanole section (25%), Central Section (25%), Dalxiska section (13%) and a few other locations. Out of the 12 families exiting the IDP sites, 5 of them were leaving sites in the Dalxiska Section, 4 left central Section, and 3 left Fanole section. Those exiting the sites indicated that they were heading to the districts of Buale (25%) and Kismayo (25%) the reminder was heading to Jilib (17%), Afmadow (17%) and Badhaadhe (17%). The majority of exists said their main reason for return was management of farms (67%), Uncomfortable living conditions (17%) and rejoining family (17%). 67% of the exists said they are intending to return back to the IDP sites in the future.
A total of 180,175 beneficiaries registered/ verified/ tracked since the beginning of 2018, of which 129,162 (17,183 IDPs and 111,979 returnees) were properly registered, while the remaining 51,099 individuals were tracked in different locations. Out of the tracked beneficiaries, 9,355 were South Sudanese who crossed the border to Sudan through Abyie, 39,839 were returnees (26,474 returned to Sudan from Saudi Arabia and 13,365 returned to different areas in North Darfur State) and 1,905 were IDPs in South Kordofan State. During the month of June, 12,015 beneficiaries were registered/ verified/ tracked, of which 5,916 were properly registered/ verified and 6,135 individuals were tracked. DTM teams managed to register most of the tracked population.

The crisis currently affecting the Lake Chad Basin countries is a result of a conflict with Non‐State Armed Groups and has triggered significant displacement of populations. As of 25 July 2018, Cameroon, Chad, Niger and Nigeria are hosting an estimated 4,328,514 affected individuals made up of internally displaced persons (IDPs), refugees (both in‐ and out‐of‐camp), returnees (former IDPs and returnees from abroad) and third country nationals (TCNs). 80% of the affected population (representing 3,468,138 individuals) are currently located in Nigeria, while 10% are located in Cameroon (416,412 individuals), 6% in Niger (248,887 individuals) and 5% in Chad (195,077 individuals).
IOM uses the Emergency Tracking Tool to compile daily information from various partners including: local and international NGOs, and local and national authorities. Compilation is done through document review, as well as personal and/or phone interviews. From 19 to 23 July 2018, IOM identified an increase of 2,883 households displaced from Al Hudaydah, bringing the total number of displaced households to 50,990 (an estimated 305,940 individuals) forced to leave their homes since the escalation of conflict in early June. The largest increases seen within Al Hudaydah governorate, with over 1,990 HH (estimated 11,940 individuals) in Al Hudaydah, displaced to the Zabid district and 313 HH (estimated 1,878 individuals) in Amanat Al Asimah, displaced to Al Ma’an, As Sabain and Bani Al Harith districts.
Como apoyo a la emergencia ocasionada por la erupción del Volcán de Fuego, la Organización Internacional para las Migraciones (OIM) le ofrece al Gobierno de Guatemala la información recopilada con la metodología de la Matriz de Seguimiento de Movilidad Humana (DTM, por sus siglas en inglés). La DTM es una herramienta muy flexible que se implementa a través de soluciones tecnológicas para generar información de manera rápida. Dicha información fue recolectada durante el viernes 20 al martes 24 de julio con el apoyo del personal técnico coordinador de cada sitio colectivo oficial registrado por SOSEP. 3,372 personas en 995 familias se encuentran en sitios oficiales registrados por SOSE.

A la date du 30 juin 2018, les partenaires de la CMP ont comptabilisé 67 268 rapatriés, ce qui correspond à une augmentation de 521 personnes par rapport aux données du CMP Mai 2018 (66 747 Rapatriés). En parallèle, 62 627 personnes déplacées internes (13 564 ménages), 526 505 personnes retournées ont été enregistrés par les équipes de la DNDS et 138 690 réfugiés maliens dans les pays limitrophes par l’UNHCR.
Des violences intercommunautaires ont éclaté en Décembre 2013 et provoqué le déplacement interne et transfrontalier de personnes. La République Centrafricaine continue de faire face à des niveaux élevés d’insécurité et de conflits violents entre différents groupes armés dans la majeure partie du pays, provoquant des déplacements nouveaux et prolongés. Ce Dashboard présente les informations collectées du 28 Mai au 17 Juin 2018 dans les 8 Préfectures de Bamingui-Bangoran, Bangui, Basse-Kotto, Haut-Mbomou, Mbomou, Nana-Gribizi, Ouaka, et Ouham Pendé. 557 723 PDI, 301 603 Anciens PDI (retournés) et 86 838 retournés d'autres pays ont été identifiées dans 923 localités et 36 sites dans 24 sous-préfectures des 8 préfectures couvertes. La population déplacée est composée à 48% d'hommes et à 52% de femmes.
