A la date du 31 Mars 2019, les partenaires de la CMP ont comptabilisé 71 858 rapatriés, ce qui correspond à une augmentation de 702 personnes par rapport aux données de janvier 2018 (71 156 Rapatriés). En parallèle, 99 039 personnes déplacées internes (20 206 ménages), 548 536 personnes retournées ont été enregistrés par les équipes de la DNDS et 138 510 réfugiés maliens dans les pays limitrophes par l’UNHCR.

Ce suivi des urgences a été realisé au Burundi pendant la semaine du 14 au 20 avril 2019. La DTM a identifié 905 personnes affectées pour pluies torrentielles et 469 personnes déplacées.

From the 16th to the 18th of April 2019 IOM, in close coordination with the Government of Zimbabwe conducted baseline assessments in Bikita, Gutu, Masvingo Rural and Zaka districts. 9,859 IDPs (2,059 households)* were reported across the 4 affected districts.

Following the onset of armed conflict on 05 April 2019 in South Tripoli, at least 6,425 families (approximately 32,125 individuals) have been displaced from their homes. Since DTM’s last update on 16 April, an additional 1,555 displaced families (approximately 7,775 individuals) were identified.

Within the period of 08 - 14 April 2019, a total of 3,607 movements were recorded, including 2,921 arrivals and 686 departures. Arrivals were recorded at locations in Askira/Uba, Bama, Chibok, Damboa, Dikwa, Gwoza, Jere, Kaga, Maiduguri, Mobbar, Monguno and Ngala Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Borno state and locations in Demsa, Fufore, Girei, Gombi, Hong, Lamurde, Madagali, Maiha, Mayo Belwa, Michika, Mubi North, Mubi South, Numan, Yola North and Yola South LGAs of Adamawa state. Departures were recorded at Askira/Uba and Kaga LGAs of Borno state, Fufore, Girei, Hong, Madagali, Maiha, Michika, Mubi North, Mubi South, Numan, Yola North and Yola South LGAs of Adamawa state. ETT assessments identified the following movement triggers: voluntary relocation (29%), improved security (18%), fear of attack (12%), ongoing conflict (2%), military operation (19%) and poor living conditions (20%).

From 15 — 18 April 2019 IOM, in close coordination with the Government of Mozambique agency Instituto Nacional de Gestão de Calamidades, conducted multi-sectoral location assessments in 36 displacement sites in Chibabawa, Muanza and Sussundenga districts.   The information included in this report was collected from 2019-04-15 to 2019-04-18.
