Within the period of 10 - 16 June, a total of 3,157 movements were recorded, including 2,287 arrivals and 870 departures. Arrivals were recorded at locations in Askira/Uba, Bama, Biu, Damboa, Gwoza, Jere, Kaga, Kala Balge, Maiduguri, Mobbar, Monguno and Ngala Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Borno state and locations in Demsa, Fufore, Girei, Gombi, Guyuk, Hong, Madagali, Maiha, Mayo Belwa, Michika, Mubi North, Mubi South, Numan, Song, Yola North and Yola South LGAs of Adamawa state. Departures were recorded at Maiduguri, Gwoza and Askira/Uba LGAs of Borno state, Demsa, Girei, Gombi, Hong, Madagali, Maiha, Mayo Belwa, Michika, Mubi North, Mubi South, Numan, Song, Yola North and Yola South LGAs of Adamawa state. ETT assessments identified the following movement triggers: voluntary relocation (16%), improved security (24%), fear of attack (17%), ongoing conflict (5%) military operation (3%) and poor living conditions (35%).

The objective of the Emergency Tracking Tool (ETT) is to quickly collect information on sudden displacements of populations. Information is collected through key informant interviews and direct observation. This dashboard provides information on a event which occurred on 17 and 19 June 2019 in two villages of the Lac province.

Le suivi des urgences a pour but de recueillir des informations sur les mouvements importants et soudains de populations. Les informations sont collectées à travers des entretiens avec des informateurs clés ou des observations directes. Ce rapport présente les informations sur des mouvements de retour survenus les 17 et 19 Juin 2019, dans 2 villages de la province du Lac.

IOM’s Displacement Tracking is pleased to share with you several maps and a dataset detailing data on the numbers and locations of IDPs and returnees in all counties for 444 sub-areas (payam) disaggregated by period of displacement / return (data collection in March 2019). The data indicates an increased return trend since the signing of the Revitalized Agreement on the Resolution of the conflict in South Sudan in September 2018 (R-ARCSS or Peace Agreement henceforth).  

DTM Niger monitors migration flows at seven key transit points around the country: Arlit, Séguédine, Madama, Dan Issa, Dan Barto, Tahoua and Magaria. In May 2019, 2,209 individuals were on average observed crossing FMPs daily. This represents a 5 per cent increase when compared to the previous month. The majority of travelers (72%) were men, while 19 per cent were women and 9 per cent were children. Niger and Nigeria were both the main countries of provenance (73% and 22%) and of destination (76% and 15%) of travellers. Nationals from Niger, Nigerian and Chadian nationals accounted for 95% of all the migrants recorded at the FMPs. Economic migration, including but not limited to long-term migration of more than six months (35% of flows), short-term movements (31%), seasonal migration (29%) was the primary type of movement observed. 

La DTM au Niger observe les flux migratoires à sept Point de suivi des flux (FMP) à travers le pays : Arlit, Séguédine, Madama, Dan Issa, Dan Barto, Tahoua et Magaria. En mai 2019, en moyenne 2 209 individus ont été observés chaque jour aux FMP, soit une hausse de 5 pour cent par rapport au mois précédent. La majorité des voyageurs (72%) étaient des hommes, tandis que 19 pour cent étaient des femmes et 9 pour cent étaient des mineurs. Le Niger et le Nigeria étaient tant les principaux pays de provenance (73% et 22%) que les principaux pays de destination (75% et 15%) des voyageurs. Les Nigériens, Nigérians et Tchadiens représentaient 95 pourcent des migrants identifiés aux FMP. La migration économique, dont la migration économique de long-terme (35% des flux), les mouvements de court-terme (31%) et la migration saisonnière (29%) étaient les principaux types de mouvements observés.

The ongoing conflict in Yemen, since March 2015, has led to the displacement of more than 3.6 million people (according to DTM’s 2018 Area Assessment). DTM’s Rapid Displacement Tracking tool collects and reports on numbers of households forced to flee on a daily basis, allowing for regular reporting of new displacements in terms of numbers, geography and needs. In the first five months of 2019, conflict activities have resulted in new patterns of displacement, particularly in within Hajjah, Al Dhale'e, and Al Hudaydah governorates.

أدى الصراع الدائر في اليمن منذ مارس 2015م إلى نزوج أكثر من 3.6 مليون شخص (وفقاً لتقييم المواقع للعام 2018 الصادر عن مصفوفة تتبع النزوح). وتعمل مصفوفة تتبع النزوح من خلال أداة تتبع النزوح السريع على جمع البيانات وعمل التقارير حول أعداد الأسر التي تُجبر على الفرار بشكل يومي، حيث تساهم هذه البيانات في التعرف على حالات النزوح الجديدة وعمل تقارير حولها من حيث الأعداد والمناطق الجغرافية والاحتياجات. ففي الخمسة الأشهر الأولى من العام 2019م، نتج عن أنشطة الصراع أنماط جديدة من النزوح، خصوصاً في محافظات حجة والضالع والحديدة.

From 27 May to 03 June 2019 IOM, in close coordination with the Government of Mozambique agency Instituto Nacional de Gestão de Calamidades, conducted the second round of the Baseline Assessment in 110 Localidades within 17 Districts in 4 Provinces: Manica, Sofala, Tete and Zambezia.

No periódo entre os dias 27 de Maio e 3 de Junho de 2019, as equipas da OIM realizaram a recholha de dados correspondente à segunda ronda da Linha de Base em 110 localidades, localizadas em 17 Districtos e 4 Províncias: Manica, Sofala, Tete e Zambezia.

Entre os dias 27 de Maio e 3 de Junho, as equipas do IOM DTM (matriz de localização de deslocamentos) em estreita coordenação com o Instituto Nacional de Gestão de Calamidade de Moçambique (INGC), realizaram avaliações de base a nível das Localidade, que representam o nível administrativo mais baixo do País. Esta segunda ronda cobriu 19 Distritos nas Províncias de Sofala, Manica, Tete e Zambezia. As equipes da DTM entrevistaram chefes de Localidade capturando estimativas de população e a sua distribuição geográfica, movimentos da população, reparação dos abrigos e acesso a serviços nas comunidades.
