Since DTM’s last update on 20 August 2019, an additional 1,450 internally displaced families (approximately 7,250 individuals) were identified, bringing the total number of internally displaced persons from Murzuq to at least 3,340 families (approximately 16,700 individuals) since the beginning of August. Reportedly, at least 620 migrants have also been displaced, most of them from Niger, Mali, Chad and Nigeria.

Detention Centre Profiling is a component of IOM Libya’s Displacement Matrix programme. It is a data oriented tool that routinely provides specific sex and age demographic data and key sectorial information on individuals held in Libya’s detention Centres on the date of assessment.
This summary presents the main findings from the multi-sectoral location assessment component of the fifth round of Mobility Tracking in South Sudan, complementing the Baseline Assessment Summary Report. Data collection for Mobility Tracking Round 5 took place in March 2019, six months after the signing of the Revitalised Agreement on the Resolution of the Conflict in the Republic of South Sudan (R-ARCSS). Multi-sectoral location assessment component of Mobility Tracking in March 2019 reached a total of 1,621 villages and neighbourhoods hosting IDPs/returnees (1,290 hosting IDPs and 1,395 hosting returnees) and 93 IDP camps and camp-like settings in all 10 states. Within the period of 12 – 18 August, a total of 7,398 movements were recorded, of which include 821 arrivals and 6,577 departures. Arrivals were recorded at locations in Askira/Uba, Bama, Damboa, Gwoza, Kala/Balge, Mafa, Mobbar, Monguno and Ngala Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Borno state, and locations in Demsa, Fufore, Gombi, Guyuk, Hong, Lamurde, Madagali, Maiha, Mayo-Belwa Michika, Mubi North, Numan, Song, Yola North and Yola South LGAs of Adamawa state. Departures were recorded in Askira/Uba, Gubio, Gwoza, Kala/Balge and Maiduguri LGAs of Borno state, locations in Demsa, Fufore, Girei, Gombi, Guyuk, Hong, Madagali, Maiha, Mayo-Belwa, Michika, Mubi North, Mubi South, Numan, song and Yola North LGAs of Adamawa state and locations in Bursari, Damaturu and Geidam LGAs of Yobe state. ETT assessments identified the following movement triggers: flood (76%), poor living conditions (7%), Voluntary relocation (7%), conflict/attack (7%), improved security (3%), military operations (0.3%) and involuntary relocation (0.1%).
Depuis 2018, le Burkina Faso fait face à une crise sécuritaire et humanitaire ayant engendré d’importants déplacements de populations. Dans un contexte d’accélération et d’aggravation de la crise, l’OIM a déployé la Matrice de suivi des déplacements (DTM) pour fournir des informations sur les effectifs, tendances et causes des déplacements et mieux comprendre les profils, besoins et vulnérabilités des populations déplacées. Ce dashboard présente les données recueillies lors de la première ronde de collecte, qui a pris place dans 34 localités de la région Est entre le 6 et 18 août 2019. Lors du premier round, la DTM a identifié 10 293 personnes déplacées (1 531 ménages), dont 57% d’hommes et 43% de femmes. 64% des personnes identifiées étaient des enfants, tandis que 4% avaient 60 ans ou plus. La grande majorité des personnes déplacées (95%) ont été déplacées en 2019. La quasi-totalité des ménages déplacés (98%) vivaient au sein d’une famille d’accueil, et 76% avaient un abri en banco.
Le suivi des urgences a pour but de recueillir des informations sur les mouvements importants et soudains de populations. Les informations sont collectées à travers des entretiens avec des informateurs clés ou des observations directes Ce rapport présente les informations sur des mouvements survenus entre le 05 et 09 août 2019 dans deux villages de la province du Ouaddai. Les données ont été collectées le 21 août 2019.
The purpose of the Emergency Tracking Tool is to gather information on large and sudden movements of populations. Data is collected through interviews with key informants or direct observation. This report presents information on movements that took place between 05 and 09 August 2019 in two villages of Ouaddai province.
