Ce suivi des urgences a été realisé au Burundi pendant la semaine du 10 au 16 Novembre 2019. La DTM a identifié 397 personnes réparties dans 87 ménages, affectées par les pluies torrentielles et les vents violents dans les provinces de Karusi et Rutana.
In response to the need for up-to-date and reliable information on the conditions of internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Cabo Delgado and Nampula due to the impact of the Cyclone Kenneth, the Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) was activated in April 2019 in Cabo Delgado and Nampula provinces and carried out by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in collaboration with the National Institute for Disaster Management (INGC). The data in this report was collected between 01 and 08 November 2019 and reflects a variety of information on the displaced populations in the cyclone Kenneth affected areas including numbers and locations of displaced persons, demographic data on these populations, period of displacement and relevant multisectoral needs. The report provides detailed information on data collected in displacement sites and localities with IDPs in the provinces of Cabo Delgado and Nampula. Detailed site profiles are also available. All individuals identified in this DTM round are IDPs.
The International Organization for Migration (IOM), in coordination with the Government of Mozambique through National Institute for Disaster Risk Management (INGC), carried out the seventh round of site assessments in five open sites: Tratara Resettlement Site, Chuiba Transit Centre, Chapala 2 Resettlement Site, Mascane Resettlement Site, Mazuane Resettlement Site.
Suite à la fermeture de certaines mines aurifères dans la ville de Miski, 334 orpailleurs (tous des hommes) ont été transportés jusqu’à Faya par des véhicules mis à disposition par les autorités. Ces individus sont quasiment tous de nationalité tchadienne et originaires pour la plupart de l’Est du pays (Adré, Hadjer Hadid et Farchana). Plusieurs mines ont été fermées à Miski et il est très probable que ces flux continuent dans les semaines à venir. Ils pourraient concerner plus de 3 000 personnes.
Following the closure of gold mines in the town of Miski, 334 gold miners (all of them men) were transported to Faya on board vehicles made available by authorities. These individuals are almost all Chadian nationals and mostly from the Eastern part of the country (Adré, Hadjer Hadid and Farchana). Several mines have been closed in Miski and it is very likely that these flows will continue in the coming weeks. They could affect more than 3,000 people.
From 04 to 07 October, in close coordination with Mozambique’s National Institute for Disaster Management (INGC), IOM DTM (Displacement Tracking Matrix) teams conducted baseline assessments at locality level (localidade), which corresponds to the lowest administrative level in the country. DTM Round 7 covered 26 districts in Sofala, Manica, Tete and Zambezia provinces. The DTM teams interviewed locality chiefs capturing population estimates and geographic distribution, population movements, shelter repairs and access to services in host communities.
Le présent rapport présente les résultats clés des évaluations rapides mises en œuvre du 4 au 10 novembre 2019 par l’Organisation internationale pour les migrations (OIM) à travers la Matrice de suivi des déplacements (DTM- Displacement Tracking Matrix) à la suite d’inondations ayant touché la ville de Bangui lors de la deuxième quinzaine du mois d’octobre 2019. Le rapport présente et fait l’analyse de chiffres relatifs au nombre, au profil, aux conditions et aux besoins et vulnérabilités des populations déplacées par les inondations. 80 quartiers de Bangui (3 arrondissements) et Bimbo ont été évalués au cours de cet exercice. La population déplacée vivant au sein de communautés hôtes est estimée à un total de 20 481 individus (4 282 ménages). 100% des ménages ont été déplacés par les inondations. Les principaux besoins des déplacés sont des besoins en vivres, en abris et en services de santé.
During the period of 4 – 10 November 2019, a total of 1,626 movements were recorded, which were composed of 1,264 arrivals and 362 departures. Arrivals were recorded at locations in Maiduguri Metropolitan Council, Askira/Uba, Bama, Biu, Chibok, Damboa, Gwoza, Hawul, Konduga, Mafa, Mobbar and Ngala Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Borno State. Arrivals were also recorded in Demsa, Fufore, Gombi, Hong, Madagali, Maiha, Michika, Mubi North, Mubi South, Numan, Song, Yola North and Yola South LGAs of Adamawa State. Departures were recorded in Askira/Uba, Gwoza and Kala/Balge LGAs of Borno State. Departures were also recorded in Fufore, Gombi, Hong, Madagali, Maiha, Mubi North, Mubi South, Numan, Song and Yola North LGAs of Adamawa State. ETT assessments identified the following movement triggers: poor living conditions (38%), voluntary relocation (33%), improved security (13%), flood (8%), military operations (4%), fear of attack (3%) and conflict/attack (1%).
This report comprises of a set of maps presenting the different migratory flows and trends in Chad. It presents the different population movements recorded from, to and within the Chadian territory and provides information about the profile of mobile populations.
In Libya, IOM and WFP conducted joint analysis combining face-to-face and web-based interviews. Methodologies used allowed to capture a varied sample of both female and male migrants from various age groups originating from 36 countries. Almost two-thirds of interviewed migrants originated from neighboring countries in Northern and Sub-Saharan Africa, including Algeria, Egypt, Niger, Chad and Sudan.
Three major earthquakes hit North Cotabato on 16, 29 and 31 October 2019, at 6.3, 6.6 and 6.5 magnitudes, respectively. The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council reports that aftershocks are expected over the coming days and weeks. Intensity VII was felt in Kidapawan City, Tulunan, M’lang and Makilala in North Cotabato; Magsaysay and Digos City in Davao del Sur.

The DTM teams interviewed key informants capturing population estimates, mobility patterns, and multi-sectoral needs and vulnerabilities.
