A total of 1,138 undocumented Afghans spontaneously returned or were deported from Pakistan through the Turkham (Nangarhar) and Spin Boldak (Kandahar) border crossings from 1—7 October, according to the Border Monitoring Team of the Directorate of Refugees and Repatriation (DoRR).

A total of 1,307 undocumented Afghans spontaneously returned or were deported from Pakistan through the Turkham (Nangarhar) and Spin Boldak (Kandahar) border crossings from 17—23 September, according to the Border Monitoring Team of the Directorate of Refugees and Repatriation (DoRR).

Between 10-16 September 2017, a total of 1,337 undocumented Afghans spontaneously returned or were deported from Pakistan through the Turkham (Nangarhar province) and Spin Boldak (Kandahar province) border crossings from 10-16 September.

1,464 undocumented Afghans returned from Pakistan last week. This is a 26% decrease compared to the previous week.

9,650 undocumented Afghans returned from Iran. Of those, 3,123 are spontaneous returnees, 6,527 are deportees. IOM assisted 342 individuals, or 3.5% of these returnees including 10 special cases, 35 unaccompanied migrant children, 5 unaccompanied elderly, and 12 poor families.

Between 23 and 29 July, a total of 1,885 undocumented Afghans spontaneously returned or were deported from Pakistan through Turkham and Spin Bolkdak border crossings, a 13 per cent decrease compared to the previous week.

A total of 2,162 undocumented Afghans spontaneously returned or were deported from Pakistan through Turkham and Spin Bolkdak border crossings, almost identical to the previous week (2,177).

5,088 undocumented Afghans returned from Pakistan and 6,357 undocumented Afghans returned from Iran. 98% of returnees from Pakistan were assisted and 4% of returnees from Iran were assisted.

From 7—13 May, a total of 4,410 undocumented Afghans spontaneously returned (4,348 individuals) or were deported (62 individuals) from Pakistan through Torkham and Spin Boldak borders, a 24% decrease from the previous week.

During the reporting period DTM identified 5,781 undocumented Afghans returning from Pakistan and 10,148 returning from Iran.

From 23 – 29 April 2017, a total of 5,653 undocumented Afghans spontaneously returned or were deported from Pakistan through Torkham border (Nangarhar province) and Spin Boldak border (Kandahar province).

Between 16 and 22 April, a total of 6,551 undocumented Afghans spontaneously returned or were deported from Pakistan through Turkham and Spin Bolkdak border crossings.

A total of 8,428 undocumented Afghans spontaneously returned or were deported from Pakistan through Torkham (Nangarhar province) and Spin Boldak (Kandahar province) border crossings from 9—15 April, according to the Border Monitoring Team of the Directorate of Refugees and Repatriation (DoRR).

From 2–8 April 2017 6,628 undocumented Afghans returned from Pakistan and 9,315 undocumented Afghans returned from Iraq. 75% of returnees from Pakistan were assisted and 2% of returnees from Iran were assisted.
