Les opérations d’enregistrement et d’évaluation menées par les équipes DTM de la Direction Nationale du Développement Social (DNDS), entre le 26 juillet et le 03 août 2016, attestent une augmentation du nombre de personnes déplacées internes au Mali.

This map illustrates IDP shelter arrangements. 16% of IDP households stay in public or informal shelter arrangements. 84% of IDP households stay in private settings, either self-paid, paid by others, or hosted with relatives or non-relatives.

58,461 IDPs (11,698 households) have been identified by the DTM in July 2016 in seven targeted provinces. The majority of IDPs identified in July 2016 left their homes due to the current socio-political situation (66%). 33% of IDPs fled due to natural disasters.

In Round 2 DTM Somalia assessed 119 sites. The total number of individual IDPs across these sites and during this period was 430,062. Of these 119,106 had been displaced within the same region, 93,721 (62.6%) were below the age of 17 and 47,388 (31.6%) were between 18-59 years old.

Between 28 June and 25 July 2016, a total of 273,625 migrants were registered going through the transit points. This included a total of 210,624 outgoing migrants and 63,000 incoming migrants during the reporting period.

As of 17 August 2016, the DTM has identified 3,344,154 IDPs (557,359 families) displaced since January 2014, dispersed across 105 districts and 3,823 locations in Iraq. For the same period, the DTM has identified 852,390 returnees (142,065 families).

2,066,783 IDPs (344,564 households) were identified in Adamawa, Bauchi, Benue, Borno, Gombe, Taraba, Yobe, Nasarawa, Plateau, Kaduna, Kano, Zamfara states and Abuja FCT.

ETM Cycle 2 assessed 535 villages in 8 affected provinces in all four divisions. Of the assessed villages, 374 villages in 39 districts and eight provinces were found to be affected.

A total of 164,626 IDPs were registered in Sudan between January and June 2016. The greatest number of IDPs registered by IOM this year has been in South Kordofan. A total of 93,487 individuals were registered as returnees.

The findings presented here are collected at the flow monitoring points located in Arlit and Séguédine, two migrant transit towns in the Agadez region of Niger.

DTM recorded 61,268 IDPs (12,610 households) in seven provinces. Most IDPs were found in Makamba (14,635 IDPs or 2,927households). 68% of IDPs reported socio-political reasons for their displacement and 29% were displaced by natural disasters. 3% fled for 'other' reasons.
