From January 2014 to 22 June 2016, the DTM identified 3,320,274 IDPs (553,379 families), dispersed across 105 districts and 3,836 locations in Iraq.

From the start of January 2014 through 22 June 2016, the DTM has identified 3,320,274 internally displaced individuals (553,379 families). This map shows locations where IDPs are currently residing, as well as overall concentrations across the country.

Flow monitoring points are placed at known migrant passing points along the Niger migratory route. Data is collected daily at FMPs to inform migrant movements and profiles. The data collected provides a snapshot of migrant movements through the region.

Cumulatively from the first week of June 2015 to 16 June 2016, 65,686 households representing 115,586 individuals have crossed the border into Haitian territory. 35.1% were female while 64.9% were male. 1,580 presumed unaccompanied minors were identified.

Information presented in this dashboard comes from the IOM Iraq’s DTM Returnee Location Assessment, conducted by IOM’s field teams across the country from 25 March to 10 May 2016. 95% of returns are permanent or stationary (as opposed to “back and forth”). 87% of returnees intend to remain.

A village assessment survey was conducted in Bor South from 24 May to 1 June 2016. 36% (85 out of 238) villages were reported deserted. 30% (27 out of 91) schools were non-functional, mainly due to insecurity and damage to infrastructure.

In connection with the ongoing conflict, the 9th report affirms a population of concern of 2,818,072 individuals.

In May 2016, the DTM assessments covered five provinces: Muyinga, Ruyigi, Rutana, Makamba and Kirundo. The assessments identified 41,423 IDPs in 8,758 households. The displaced population is composed of 46% men and boys and 54% women and girls.

Updated data on Ukraine’s internally displaced persons’ (IDPs) social and economic situation, mobility and integration are available from the second periodic survey on IDPs in Ukraine, conducted by IOM in cooperation with the Ukrainian Centre for Social Reforms.
