The total number of returnees from January 2016 to October 2016 was 25,262 individuals. DTM recorded 777 returnees in the month of October 2016.

DTM identified 198,889 internally displaced persons (35,630 households) and 36,068 returnees (6,946 households). 92% of the displaced population was displaced by the insurgency and 8% by flooding and other natural disasters.

Patterns of internal displacement in Somalia are diverse: short and long-term, single or multiple events, protracted or newly emerging, in both rural and urban areas. This diversity needs to be reflected for appropriate solutions to be developed and pursued.

The objective of the National Monitoring System (NMS) in Ukraine, drawing on DTM approaches, is to support the Government of Ukraine in collecting and analyzing information on the socioeconomic characteristics of IDPs and IDP households as well as on challenges that IDPs are facing.

As of 13 October 2016, the DTM has identified 3,233,832 IDPs (538,972 families) displaced since January 2014, dispersed across 106 districts and 3,771 locations in Iraq. For the same period, the DTM has identified 1,004,724 returnees (i.e. 167,454 families).

Depuis Août 2016, le gouvernement du Niger met en oeuvre des mesures plus strictes pour contrôler la migration irrégulière.

Flow monitoring points are placed at known migrant passing points along the Niger migratory route. Data is collected daily at FMPs to inform migrant movements and profiles. The data collected provides a snapshot of migrant movements through the region.

In Round 6, DTM Mobility Tracking located and identified 313,236 IDP individuals (62,322 households) currently present in 94 areas across the country.

57,926 IDPs (12,254 households) have been identified by the DTM in September 2016 in the 7 targeted provinces. The number of persons displaced by natural disasters has increased by 15% between August and September 2016.

More than 5 years after the devastating 12 January 2010 earthquake, an estimated 14,593 households, or 55,107 individuals are still residing in 31 IDP sites in the earthquake affected communes.

The total number of returnees since January 2016 to September 2016 was 23,766. DTM recorded 941 returneed in the month of September 2016.

Cumulatively since the first week of June 2015 to 29 September 2016, 84,405 households representing 143,094 individuals have crossed the border into Haitian territory. 34.3% were female while 65.7% were male. 2,273 presumed unaccompanied minors were identified.

En août 2016, DTM a identifié 59 758 PDI dans sept provinces. La plupart des PDI résident dans la province de Makamba (13 255 PDI soit 2 651 ménages). 58% des PDI ont été déplacées en raison de la situation socio-politique et 40% ont été déplacées à la suite désatrses naturels.
